Mr. Arnold handles the family law needs of the area, specializing in child support, custody, divorce, and adoption. His prime objective is to work in a non-confrontational manner whenever possible, but he also realizes at times that it is best to deal from a position of strength in certain matters, and has the experience to know when and how to apply pressure to an issue. Mr. Arnold believes that most family law issues, such as divorce, child custody and child support, are best handled with as little animosity generated by the lawyers as possible.
Emmett J. Arnold is the county-appointed administrator and also the county-appointed guardian for Clayton County, Georgia. As the County Administrator he becomes the administrator of troubled probate estates or unrepresented probate estates, handling complex personal, legal, and financial issues for families grappling with the death of a loved one. As the County Guardian, he receives the property and finances of minor children and incapacitated adults when a family cannot manage these estates for one reason or another. Emmett J. Arnold currently manages over $1 million in funds and property for over 100 individuals. In addition to managing estates, Emmett J. Arnold also prepares wills and guardianships in a timely and competent manner.
