Business Law

By definition, divorce is the legal dissolution of a marriage. Most of the time, divorces are not as simple as people would like them to be. Most cases involve the division of property between spouses and/or the arrangement of child custody and support. In addition to legal and material matters, the emotional effect on both parties will take its own toll. Emmett J. Arnold will do everything possible to reach a settlement without the intervention of the court. However, if an agreement cannot be reached, we offer aggressive legal representation to ensure that your personal needs are met.

Divorce

Family Law is a broad field that includes not only divorce, child support and custody but also includes adoption, probate matters, family bankruptcy, as well as modification of existing custody, support or visitation orders. Emmett J. Arnold, P.C. can provide quality legal representation in all of these related areas of practice.

Family Law

Child support is a payment by a non-custodial parent to the custodial parent to contribute to the cost of raising minor children. If you are in the middle of a divorce and children are involved, it is crucial that you seek and meet with an experienced family law attorney. Emmett J. Arnold will fight to secure a final disposition that is sufficient and fair.

Child Support

One of the most difficult questions facing couples during a divorce is, “Who will keep the children?” Physical custody is the set of parental responsibilities regarding day-to-day care in addition to the rights to direct the child’s daily activities. However, legal custody is the set of rights and responsibilities regarding the child’s upbringing.
