














Emmett J. Arnold, P.C. is a fixture in the local legal community of the Southern Crescent of Metro Atlanta, Georgia. Following in the footsteps of his late father, Judge Emmett J. Arnold III, together they have been meeting the area’s legal needs since 1968. A resident of Clayton County for over 50 years, Mr. Arnold graduated from Georgia State University with a B.A. degree in Economics in 1978 and a Juris Doctor degree from the charter class of Georgia State University College of Law in 1987.

Participating in his community, Mr. Arnold is the chairman of the Jonesboro Housing Authority and also sits on the Board of the Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity, providing for the housing needs of those less fortunate. The past district chairman of the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, he now chairs the Troop Committee of Boy Scout Troop-136, a troop providing guidance to young men for over 50 years in Jonesboro, and where his son earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2006.
Along with his involvement in the community, Mr. Arnold is a member and past President of the Clayton County Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Lawyer’s Foundation of Georgia, and the Lawyer’s Club of Atlanta.
